Crowd Services has supported the public sector with a large-scale technology refresh project aimed at improving operational efficiency at diplomatic and consular missions worldwide. This initiative involved the installation and configuration of 840 workstations (PdL) for the issuance of electronic passports, focusing on the integrated management of hardware and peripherals.

Project objectives

The main objective of the project was to modernize and optimize the technological infrastructures used by diplomatic missions in 130 countries. Through the installation and rollout of complete workstations, the project ensured that every embassy and consulate was equipped with the necessary tools to manage the issuance of electronic passports efficiently and securely.

Implemented solution

The project included the supply, configuration, and management of a wide range of devices, including:

  • Desktop and portable workstations with high-performance configurations.
  • Additional peripherals: monitors, local printers, thermal printers, barcode readers, passport printers, laminators, fingerprint readers, UPS, and scanners.

In total, the project involved managing 6,720 peripherals distributed across 220 diplomatic missions, ensuring a uniform and high-quality technological infrastructure.
